Title: COIN-OR: Open-Source Software for Operations Research Triennial Update

Speaker: Brady Hunsaker, Assistant Professor, University of Pittsburgh and Secretary, the COIN-OR Foundation, Inc.

Abstract: The Compuational Infrastructure for Operations Research (COIN-OR) initiative was launched six years ago at ISMP 2000 to facilitate and encourage the development of open software, standards, and data for compuational OR. Since that time there has been considerable growth and development of the project which is now managed by an independent non-profit educational foundation. This talk will give an update on the intiative, including opportunites to make use of the initiatives projects and ways to become part of the COIN-OR Community.
